Needed to drop the car off and rolled it into a run. Perfect temps as last night's chill gave way to a sunny afternoon. Cruised wonderland, which is becoming the default. It's nice to get some continuous running without crossing real streets. Threw in strides at the park. See how casual that sounds? That's not how it is for me. Any deviation from easy running feels pretty effortful, and I'm trying to change that. Strides didn't take long, although I get antsy waiting for the next one. I see where a running buddy would be handy there. But the sun was out and it was hard not to enjoy rest intervals in a park. Interesting how the gps-reported speed didn't get as high on a couple of stride intervals, even though I know I was going about the same speed. I did the work and I know that, so...I'm not gonna research it I'm not gonna research it. Why are there always people sitting in their cars at the park? As usual, there were more people sitting in parked cars than there were in the park. Come park your car in Parkside Park's Park-side Parking Lot. Everyone is doing it! 317 strava, 322 garmin.
