The sensation of sucking wind from yesterday was not a fluke; I felt like I had to pull back to keep the intensity low enough for an easy run. What I am noticing is that I'll be breathing heavily, but my HR can be below 140. Eventually the HR catches up in most cases. I wonder if me and my body are accustomed to running faster, but now I am a little slower, so that speed just feels unsustainable. Will know with more certainty once I am fully over this cold.
