Comments: Felt pretty dang good. Everything came pretty easily. Beautiful day with lots of people out. Some even waved back. The downhill felt pretty effortless to stay relaxed. Just leaned into it and went. At one point I thought I was going slow - my muscles and tendons felt tight, and I thought they were holding me back. But I was clipping along under 7:15 pace. I think it was just a matter of my muscles being a little sore while my metabolic engine felt primed. Or maybe I am just making up theories again.
