Comments: Getting the hang of running in the dark. This wasn't even dark, it was twilight most of the time. Was still running abnormally fast for my effort. Except this time, my muscles started getting sore around 2 miles in. Especially my hammies. Cardiovascular was still feeling good. I took the soreness/tightness as a sign to back off, because it was unpleasant holding the pace. I can see myself slowing down over the course of the run in response. Maybe I was fresh after taking a couple days off, a tiny taper to nothing.
