I needed, needed a place to document my hiking adventures. I want to make sure I'm not doing crazy, reckless things in the mountains. Or, at least I want to convince myself I'm not. Writing everything down seems to be a good sanity check. I enjoy writing a lot more when it's for an audience. So we are gonna make all these journals public. Hopefully I'm brave enough to share my mistakes, and not just my victories. Sometimes I hike with my girlfriend, sometimes I hike with my dog, and sometimes I hike with other friends. But I most enjoy hiking by myself. That's where the best writing comes from, anyway. Enjoy!
